It´s WIN World’s Birthday

I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself what a wonderful world

I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night
And I think to myself what a wonderful world

The colors of the rainbow so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people going by
I see friends shaking hands saying how do you do
They’re really saying I love you

I hear babies crying, I watch them grow
They’ll learn much more than I’ll never know
And I think to myself what a wonderful world
Yes I think to myself what a wonderful world

Songwriters: George David Weiss / Bob Thiele
First recorded by Louis Armstrong and released in 1967.

Dear All,

Another year passes by and here we are, celebrating 9 years of life, launching our blog but more important, taking time to think about everything that inspires us and to be grateful for all those who are part of our journey. And you are one for sure, so thank you so much.

For those who know us better, they are familiar that our sources of inspiration are not immediately evident, and that in reality we are always looking for new, different and non-obvious things because we believe in the intersection of disciplines as a way of inspiration and prosperity, in business and in life. It is also interesting to add that some of the best inspirations come as a surprise simply because we are deeply attached to the moment we are living or because we are open enough to see things from a different perspective and to enjoy new feelings about something. And that’s exactly what happened when we were thinking about the way to celebrate this ninth anniversary. We were listening to the music What a Wonderful World, recorded for the first time 50 years ago by Louis Armstrong, and suddenly we captured the simplicity and the beauty of the song, the power of the little wonders, and the things that really matter in life when we truly look for a wonderful world. Touched by the song, we did some research straightaway and found that it is said that George Weiss wrote the song specifically for Louis Armstrong because he was inspired by Armstrong’s ability to bring people of different races together. Isn’t this marvelous?

Inspired by all this, and because we believe in this message and we want to play a role as much as we can, what we would like to encourage for the year to come, is that each of us could spread more new little wonders in the world. And it may be simpler than you think. Try this:

Think about the people to whom you would like to say thank you, go and say it! Think about those who inspire you, and tell them so! Think about those who can help you, and ask for their contribution! Think about those with whom you would like to spend some more time with, and invite them for lunch! Think about those you care, and say that you are here for whatever they may need! Think about those who are in need, and see how you can help! Think about those who hurt you, and try to make peace! Think about those you love, and express your affection with a big smile! Think about the beautiful mysteries of nature, and value them the most you can! Think about the things you love to do, and truly enjoy them!

All of us can play a greater role for a wonderful world, mainly by better acting on the little things. Let’s make our best so.

We wish you the very best for 2018!
