Leading for well-being: driving positive change for success

March 28, 2022

Our rapidly changing world requires companies not only to react quickly, but also to have a high degree of foresight. When it comes to health, it is becoming increasingly clear that prevention is the best treatment. More and more companies are recognizing the benefits of a healthy corporate culture that focuses on human development. Employee well-being is the key to greater engagement, creativity, efficiency and productivity.

“Companies have long used corporate social responsibility initiatives and philanthropy to improve their standing with consumers. Now there is a new crop of companies that are making health and wellness a business imperative, not just because it is ‘the right thing to do,’ but because it is good business for the long term”, Harvard Business School has shown in this piece.

Since there is no single approach or one-size-fits-all solution, outstanding leaders will share, this March 29, their unique perspectives on health and some of their ideas, strategies and practices for creating a culture of well-being in organizations.

Ana Isabel Sousa, VP People Strategy at Farfetch; João Vieira de Almeida, Senior Partner at VdA; Luís Mergulhão, CEO of Omnicom Media Group Portugal; Marco Tulio Carvalho, Chief Medical Officer of eCare Group; and Salvador Mendes de Almeida, Founder of Associação Salvador, will be on stange at Happy Conference 2022 to inspire leaders and teams to make a collective commitment to foster healthy work environments.
